Ehow Writers will have to write for Demand Studios

Well I have not been online very much for the last couple of weeks, but I was hit with a shock yesterday. Demand Studios will be the exclusive platform for Ehow writers. I was actually very disappointed in this decision that they have made. I have been writing for Ehow for over a year now, and love the site. Demand Studios is a completely different subject.

I was accepted to write for Demand Studios, but have not decided whether or not I will write for them. I know that Demand Studios is much more strenuous on there acceptance then Ehow was. I am not worried about my writing, but I know they will want editing done from time to time. If that is the case I will not write for the site. To receive the same pay and work twice as hard, I would not do it. I will submit a few articles so I can see what happens.

I do not feel that this is a good decision for Ehow or Demand Studios. I think they will be losing a lot of quality writers with this decision.

My Earnings:

Since this change has taken affect my earnings have dropped quite a bit. I have went from $4 days last month to $1 days this month. I am hoping that this is only a temporary earning problem, and they will begin to increase again after everything gets situated.

Well this will affect all of us as a writing group and I would like to know how you feel about it. So please leave a comment sharing your point of view on Demand Studios becoming the writing platform.

I am back online and have an earning update

I am so sorry that I have been away for the last week or so. There has been so much going on, and I did not have a computer for a few days. Well I am back on track and will be pushing even harder to reach my earning goals with Ehow and my other writing sites.

I was pleasantly surprised when I logged back in on Ehow, my earnings have increased. They have actually increased by more than $20 since last month. I am hoping that this will keep happening from now on. I did not write much this much, and most of you know why. April will be the month for hard work online.

I will be getting my focus back this month. It will take time to get everything back in order, but this is my time to reach my goals.

Ehow Weekly Earning Update 3/24/2010

This had been a good week or my Ehow earnings. The increase has been decent, and my daily average is beginning to go up on a regular basis. I did not get to write much this week due to personal issues. I will also be moving this week so my writing will have to be put on hold for another week.

I am hoping that I will be able to return to my writing in the next week. My focus will be even greater than before, and I am determined to make my income goals soon.

Ehow Publishing Glitches

I have been having so many problems publishing, and so is everyone else on Ehow. I don't know what is going on, but I do not have publishing problems on any other sites. The issues on Ehow has slowed down my writing by quite a bit. I usually stand up for Ehow because it is the best site that I write for, but I am starting to get upset with the problem. If I am not writing I will not increase my daily earnings.

I have figured out how to publish the articles, but you cannot publish any pictures on the articles. If I do not use pictures, I do not have any problems.

I did wake up to a better day at Ehow, my earnings increased today. I try to always look at the positive in life.

I am hoping that Ehow gets there publishing tools fixed, and soon. I like putting a picture in the articles, even though they do not seem to affect the earnings.

Ehow Weekly Earning Update 3/15/2010

I have had a good week on Ehow. The earnings are increasing slightly. The only bad thing is that I have not been able to publish many articles. I have articles written, but the publishing tool is not working for me at the moment. Since I have not been able to publish I have been spending more time on other sites like firehow.

I am planning on trying to publish more articles in the next week. I am hoping that the earnings continue to show a small increase, and I can begin to earn what I was last year.

Ehow Weekly Earning Update 3/8/2010

I am feeling good about Ehow at the moment. My earnings for March are going well. I hate to say that I have not been writing much, but my earnings do continue to increase anyway. I am going to be writing more this week. I have been pretty sick, so I have not felt like doing much. I am now medicated and hope to be feeling better so I can continue to work on my writing.

My Ehow earnings this week was about $20, which is a $5 increase from this time last week. I did not write any articles. I am hoping for an even bigger increase next week.

Great day On Ehow

I have not had this in a long time, a $5 earning day on Ehow. I am not saying that it will continue to be this high, but I am so happy. My online income has been much lower for the last couple of months. With this increase I am beginning to get my positivity back.

Ehow is a great earning site. I think it just went through a tough patch the last couple of months. I am hoping to begin earning what I was before all of the problems. My best earning month was November. I earned $124 and had a little more than 200 articles. Most of my articles was only a month or two old. In December I became disappointed with my earnings. I made a $70 with 300 articles. It was even worse in January and February.

I think my earnings for March will be much greater than before, and I feel it is a great sign for a continuing increase in all of the Ehow communities earnings.

Ehow Weekly Earning Update 2/23/10

This has been a good week for Ehow. Since they fixed there publishing tool, I have actually been writing. I have not written as much as I did before the publishing issue came up, but I have been writing. My earnings have increased a small amount compared to this time last month, and any earning increase is good.

My daily Ehow earnings has been increasing at a very slow pace, but they have improved. I am hoping that they will get back to what they were before the UK issue. I was earning $5-$8 a day, and they were increasing.

Ehow Goals For Next Week:

I will write a few articles for the week, my goal is 20. I feel this is a good beginning to returning to publishing. I am wanting my earnings to stay over $3 a day, and more hopefully.

I have continued to promote my articles in various ways, and went back to tweak some of the articles as well. Since doing this I have began to earn on some articles that have not earned before. I will look through my articles this week to see if I can continue that progress throughout my Ehow library.

Increase Your Earnings After The UK Problem

The UK problem has reduced our earning by quite a bit, but the issue is being fixed by Ehow. Now we have to worry about how are articles are ranking, and find ways to get our earning back to what the were before the problem happened.

I decided to go through my articles the other day, and found that a lot of them do not come up on the search engines. I think it may have had something to do with us having duplicates of our articles, Google tends to look down on that.

What I began to do:

• Go through your articles and see if they are on Google. You can do this by copying a portion of your article, and put it in Google's search engine. Your article should come up if it is ranked.
• Submit my article links on Submitexpress again.
  
• Update your articles a small amount to get the search engines to notice the article again.

These are just a few things that I did, and it may help you as well. I have almost 400 articles, and it is time consuming, but if the article is not listed you will not get traffic. You need the traffic to get earnings from your articles.

The best way for us to increase our earnings it to avoid conflict about the situation, and finding ways to help our earnings again. It may take some time, but it will be worth it.

Ehow Weekly Earning Update 2/08/10

This weeks Ehow earnings have fared better than the first week of January, but they are still not where they were before. My husband and I have both been sick this week, so I have not worked on the site as much as I had planned. I have went through and worked on some of my older articles, and they have began to earn again. I guess I will be trying to go through all of my articles this week to see how well they are doing on search engines, and seeing if they have been stolen. (I did find a few that have been stolen during my updating)

Ehow has fixed the UK problem.

I read a forum post that is stating that the UK problem at Ehow has been fixed. I want to thank Rich for putting a very descriptive post explaining that it has been fixed, and any links that still exist will go to the US articles.

I am sure it will take a little while for the earnings to begin increasing again, but I feel they will go back up. There has been numerous people stating that there income is down, so I am not alone. I will continue to share my earnings with you so you can see what the outcome will be.

Earnings begining to increase, Again!

Since the beginning of December my Ehow earnings have been fairly low. I was thinking it may have been because of the holidays, but I have found out that Ehow had been putting a the contributors articles on a UK site. Well, we was not earning from these, and they were actually being ranked higher than our US articles.

Ehow has now informed us that they will be removing those articles during the next few weeks, and all should be removed soon. Click here to see the forum posts about this.

Well I am seeing that this may be the reason for my decrease in earnings. It was not that entirely, but had a hand in the Ehow earnings. Today I did an update on my Ehow earnings tracker and I had earned a little more than $5. This is a great increase since I had only averaged $2 since the beginning of January.

Before December my earnings had began to average $7-$8 a day, and I had less articles. I am hoping Ehow removing those articles will help. Hopefully I will get those $8 days, and more. Since I have been promoting like crazy, I hope it will be more.

Earning Update 01/08/2009

Well it has not began as a good earning year for Ehow. My earnings are down a little, but I feel they will begin to rebound in a few weeks. I have been promoting more, and plan on going through a lot of my older articles to see how they can be improved.

2010 Ehow Goals

I see a lot coming in the new year, and I wanted to share my earning goals with you all. Since I began August 2009, I realized that I can make money on Ehow. I have read about other peoples great success, and I feel I will have success this year. I am going to focus on my writing for Ehow.

I plan on writing at least 100 articles a month, maybe more. I do want to reach 1400 articles by the end of 2010. This does seem like a difficult goal, but it is only 25 articles a week. I can usually write an article within 30 minutes. It may take an hour if I have a lot of research.

I want to increase my earnings by at least $50 a month. I believe I can make it more, but I do not want to my my goals unachievable and get discouraged. There will probably be months that have higher increases, and that will just be a great bonus.

This is just my beginning goals. I will continue to update my goals monthly.

I hope I can share a success story with you all during the year. I feel there is great income potential from Ehow, and I plan to see it for myself.

December and 2009 Earnings

Well it is now 2010, Happy New Year! I have had a good experience with ehow this year. I have only been actively writing since August, so I feel I have done pretty well. The Holidays did slow my earnings for December, and hurt my yearly earnings.

I am happy with the years earnings. I did not focus a lot in the beginning. When I did begin to focus, it took me a little while to see the full potential Ehow has to offer. Well I know now.

Earning Update 12/1-12/6

This has got to be the worst first week I have ever had. I know there is still one day left, but it will probably not make a big difference. I am missing two days that did not get updated, today being one of them. I am thinking it may be because of he Holiday season. Well here is my update:

November Earning Update, And Decembers Projections.

November Earnings:

Well I am pleased with my efforts this month. I have increased my earnings by 53%. I have also increased my articles quite well.

It is not what I was hoping for, but I a very pleased. I have had a few good days where I earned between $5 and $8, but I have also had a few $2 days. My daily average ended up being $4.22. Last month my average was about $2 a day. The majority of my earnings was from articles that I had previously written, only $30 of my earnings was from November articles. I also had 20 articles deleted in the sweep, one of which was a high earner.

December Projections:

I have learned a lot more about SEO and promoting, so I will be putting more of what I have learned into the articles. I think December is going to do very well. I don't think I will increase my earnings by 54% again this month, but there will be an increase.

I did not focus on EHOW when I first signed up, I only wrote 9 articles before August of '09. Since August I have written 268 articles, and earned $275.

My advice for anyone that writes for EHOW would be to never give up. Keep writing! You will begin to see your earnings increase monthly.

The beginging of my Ehow experience.

I found ehow through a search engine. When I went to read an article I noticed that they paid for people to write fairly simple articles. I decided to try it. I wrote 4 articles in March of 2009 and 1 more in April. I didn't write anything else until I found out I had made money. That made me put a lot more into it. In July I wrote 4 more articles. I earned a total of $28 by the end of July.

I know $28 hours does not sound like much, but I only had 9 articles. I also only put in about 10 minutes into each article. I was surprised about what I may be able to do. I began reading other peoples experiences and learned that there were people earning over $1000 a month, that got me going.

My progress since then:

August: Articles-28 Earnings-$21
September:Articles-69(most at the end of the month) Earnings-$61
October: Articles-73 Earnings-$68

So far for September I have written 54 articles and my earnings are at $72. If I continue on my earning track for the month I will make about $150 this month, and it will only increase. Even if I stop writing, I would still be making money off of those articles.

I currently have 240 articles published, and have made about $250 from the site.

I figured out that I am making $10 per 1000 views of my articles, which is well above any other site I write for. If I would have focused more in the beginning I would be making my goal income.

In this blog I will share my daily progression with the site, I will also tell you my earnings on a regular basis.
