Promoting is going well.

I have been promoting my article on She Told Me. I had only put about half of my Ehow articles on until today. When I checked my earnings I noticed an increase in earnings on articles that I had put on the site. These articles had not made much in the past, so I was surprised. It was not a huge increase, and my earnings in general was not great. It was just that the articles had not done well before.

It got me a little excited, so I went to work. I worked for a couple of hours getting the remainder of my articles listed. I now have over 400 she told me links, I am actually one of the top 10 publishers on the site.

I did a page rank check on Submit Express to check some of my articles, and discovered that She Told Me is ranked pretty quickly.

I have great hopes for my progress, and hope I can report higher earnings soon.

Submit Express

Submit Express is a site that can help with a lot of your writing. The site has tools to assist with SEO, search engine submission, marketing, and other helpful publishing and promoting tools.

Submit express also has a lot of free tools that can help. You can search your articles popularity, and find where your articles are being linked from. I have been using this service, and I have learned a lot about what I am doing properly, and what I need to work on.

Other free tools they offer:

• Keyword traffic estimator
• SEO dictionary
• Meta tag generator
• Page rank checker
• Page snooper
• Broken link checker
• Link counter
• You can also submit some of your articles for free, you can only do one at a time though.

There is also a lot of other helpful information that you can use. I just recently came onto this site, and I am learning a lot. I recommend any writer checking the site out, it may help you a lot.

300 Articles!!!

I have finally reached the 300 article mark. It would have been sooner, but I had some removed, and other things came up. I feel it is a great milestone. Only about 70 of the articles have been published for 3 months or more, so I should see an increase in my earnings when the articles reach there 3 month point. Most people say it takes at least three months for your articles to mature.

My next goal is 400 by the end of January, and 1000 by the end of 2010!

Making More Money On Ehow.

Earning money on Ehow is very achievable. It takes time and hard work, but it can be a good income. I have been doing different things to learn what does increase my earnings.

Do:

• Write Often
• Write well (using proper grammar, and sentence structure.)
• Revise articles occasionally. You learn more over time and it may help your placement in the search engine.
• Write on topics that you have made more money on.
• Write articles that you believe people will search for.
• Learn SEO, and choose the proper key words.
• Make a work schedule for yourself.
• Support other contributors.
• Check your ads to see if they fit your article, you may need to adjust some wording.
  

Do Not:

• Copy other peoples work.
• Write in all caps or small letters.
• Waist time in the forum, use that time for writing.
• Worry about pictures. I have not noticed a difference in the profit.

These are just a few things that can help. I am currently testing a couple of different things, and will share anything else that shows earning potential.

Promoting!

Since I have been back I have had a hard time trying to think of articles, so I am going to focus on promoting until after Christmas. I may submit a couple of articles, but not may. I am promoting my articles on www.shetoldme.com at the moment. I have seen a little progress on other sites, so I am hoping for the same on Ehow.

I have returned from vacation

Hi everyone, I am back from vacation, and honestly did not have the best time. I did get to see Atlantis in Nassau, and that was the best experience.

I returned home to earnings that was not very good.

Of course I did not write any article.

I only made $23 for the eight days I was gone. That is only a little more than $2 a day. I also had an update for today, which was only .32. It was very upsetting, but I am expecting a lot more after the Holidays. I do not expect a lot of people being online reading articles during this time of year, especially since I only have a few Holiday articles.

I have only made $54 so far for December, and that is more that 50% less than last month. The plus side is that I have not been very active, so most of the earnings is residual.

After the Holidays are over I am going to focus on my writing and other online earnings more, so I am hoping for a very large increase in January.

Earning Update

I have not gotten an update yet today, but I wanted to give you a simple update until I return on the 21st. I have not been very active with my writing this week because I was trying to get prepared for my vacation. I have only written 21 articles so far, which is much less than what my average has been. My earnings are only at a little over $30. It is a slow month due to the holidays, but things will pick up in January.

I have been doing a lot of promotion the last few days to make up for my lack of writing. I am hoping for a big earning increase when I get home, I can only hope!

I will be out of town until the 21st, and I will do an extensive update then.

Earnings Updated

Well today and yesterday Ehow did update there earnings. Today they actually updated twice, but they were not very much for me.

The first 7 days of December I made about $20, $15 short of last month. I am fine with that because I am sure people have better things to do during this time of year. I have not been online as much as I should, so I am content with any earnings at the moment. Earning money without working is great, no matter how much it is.

I will be updating my earnings Friday or Saturday because I will be out of town next week. Going to the Bahamas, so excited, it's my first time! I am going to go through Ehow withdrawals.

Earning Update 12/1-12/6

This has got to be the worst first week I have ever had. I know there is still one day left, but it will probably not make a big difference. I am missing two days that did not get updated, today being one of them. I am thinking it may be because of he Holiday season. Well here is my update:

Update and Promoting My Content.

I do not do a lot of promoting for my articles, but I see how easy it can be. I am using www.shetoldme.com and www.stumbleupon.com to start my promoting. Since there is an option to promote both on our ehow articles, it is very simple.

Since I am going through all of my 290 articles anyway, I am going to update each one with better SEO. If I can get the SEO used properly, and promote my articles, I should begin seeing a great increase in my income within the next month or so. I am sure there are other sites that I can promote on, but I feel I should focus on a couple. After I see how my progress goes, I may try a couple more.

This may take a little while to finish this process, but it will be complete by the first of the year. I will continue to write article, but not quite as many. I will let you guys know how the process is going, and hopefully share my success.

She Told Me

I have recently heard about a site, www.shetoldme.com. It is a site that you can put a scoop about your articles. You put a link to your article, and a brief description about the articles contents. I have put a few of my articles on the site to test it out. I also read that you can earn money from your Google Adsence Account. They put an ad on the scoop page, and you can earn revenue from it.

You can also submit other sites, and different things to www.shetoldme.com. You will have to look at the site to see everything they offer, but I think it is interesting. I submitted a link to 10 of my Ehow articles, and it took about 15 minutes to do. That is not very long if it will attract more people to my articles.

November Earning Update, And Decembers Projections.

November Earnings:

Well I am pleased with my efforts this month. I have increased my earnings by 53%. I have also increased my articles quite well.

Articles Written-94
Earnings-$125

It is not what I was hoping for, but I a very pleased. I have had a few good days where I earned between $5 and $8, but I have also had a few $2 days. My daily average ended up being $4.22. Last month my average was about $2 a day. The majority of my earnings was from articles that I had previously written, only $30 of my earnings was from November articles. I also had 20 articles deleted in the sweep, one of which was a high earner.

December Projections:

I have learned a lot more about SEO and promoting, so I will be putting more of what I have learned into the articles. I think December is going to do very well. I don't think I will increase my earnings by 54% again this month, but there will be an increase.

I did not focus on EHOW when I first signed up, I only wrote 9 articles before August of '09. Since August I have written 268 articles, and earned $275.

My advice for anyone that writes for EHOW would be to never give up. Keep writing! You will begin to see your earnings increase monthly.

I am just going to be brief with this update. Tomorrow I will have my final earnings for the month, and can give a detailed update to all of you.

Show Your EHOW Support.

I have been a member on EHOW for a few months now, and love the community. I have learned that the more support I show around the community, the more I earn in that day. I do make it a point to request a friend or two a day, and read and rate a couple of there articles. I also read the articles of people that have left comments for me. This is not only about the earnings, because you do not necessarily earn more for receiving comments and ratings. I feel that I am showing support to the community. I never leave comments on articles I feel are unworthy, I do actually read the articles first.

The one thing I do not do is ask people to read my articles, this is against the EHOW policy. Basically any form of SPAM is against there policy. You do not want to have your account suspended because of this. You can get support without spamming.

This is what I do:

Support people that read my articles.
Read others articles, and show my support
Post links on my profile that I want to promote

Never Do The Following(you can be suspended for them):

Send mass emails promoting anything
Ask other members to read your articles
Ask people to click on ads
Click on other members ad, unless it is something you are genuinely wanting to learn about.

I hope this information can help you. It is something I have learned through my experience. I want to endure people supports the community, without getting in any trouble.

Blog Update

I have been updating on a daily basis, but it doesn't work very well. From now on I will be updating my earnings report on Mondays. I want everyone to know how my earnings are, but I think once a week is more convenient for everyone.

I will also do a monthly update for everything; my earnings, articles, and anything extra that I do to help my earnings.

The Upsides Of Ehow

Even though I do enjoy having the money I earn from EHOW, there are other good aspects. The people on the site are great. I have learned a lot from the forums, and they are also very supportive. I do not think I would have kept using the site if it was not for the inspiration I received from the community.

I learn a lot from the site. When I go around and read peoples articles I learn many different things. You can learn different recipes, financial advice, organizational tips, and many other things. It is fun to learn the different things.

Then the pay is great too. I earn more on average than any other site. Don't get me wrong, I do earn money on other sites, but it does not average out to ehow's earnings.

Ehow Earnings For Nov. 21-22

I missed a couple of days on here so I wanted to give everyone a complete update for the 21st and the 22nd.

I am over $100 for the month, which is so great. I have not been working on the site as much as I should be, so $100 is great. I still have one week to reach my goal of $150, so my daily earnings need to be $7 a day. How the earnings have been in the last few days I do not know. But I love the site.

Even though I have had a few day that I did not have high earnings, my daily average is still $5. I still have a little over a week to reach my goal of $150. I may reach it, but if I do not I am hoping to be close. I have heard that it takes about 3 months for your article to begin earning its full potential. About 240 of my articles have been published for less than 3 months, so I am very hopeful.

Well it was another low earnings day, but the month is doing well. I almost have $100 for the month. The good thing about writing for the site is that I will continue to earn from my published articles. I could never write another article, and still earn about $100 a month. Even though that is so, I will still keep working. It is easy, and can be profitable.

I was a little disappointed with my earnings today, but every little bid does count. It also take a little while for some of the articles to begin to earn.

I am excited that I have one article that was published o10/29/09 that has made over $20. There are a couple of other articles that have made the $15 mark, but it has taken almost a month to attain those earnings.

Even with the low earnings today, I am still happy with what I am doing on the site. I am putting some work and time into the earnings, but I do it from home.

A little About Me.

Since I am sharing my Ehow venture with you, I decided I would share a little about myself.

I am currently trying to discover ways to earn money from home. I am 29 and married. I currently do not have any children. I was actually hurt at work a couple of months ago, and I am having numerous problems with that. I cannot go back to work, and have no income coming in, so I turned to the internet.

I had no previous writing experience, other than a few things in school. I write about things that I know, or do a little research about other things. Writing is something I have been enjoying doing, and have been earning money with it.

If I have calculated correct, I should be making about $1000 a month by January of 2010. I know it does not sound like much to some people, but it is about what I was making at my part time job. It may take one or two extra months, depending on different variables. I am happy with my progress.

If you are looking for work from home, I would suggest trying to write. There are numerous different sites, and most can be profitable if you put time into it.

Writing for ehow has been my most profitable individual site. Sign up for them, write a few articles, and earn money. The people are great, and very helpful.

If you ever need any advice please let me know. I would also consider purchasing an ebook that writergig wrote. She is one of the highest earners on the site. I have a link to the book on the left of the screen.

I have noticed that if you are not active on the site your earnings may go down a little bit. Some people do not think so, but in my recent tracking it been true.

I did not go onto the site at all yesterday, so I feel that hurt my earnings. Even though it did, I made $3.40 without doing anything.

Even though my earnings are not great, I feel accomplished. When I began writing for Ehow, I did not expect much. I honestly believe that the site has great potential. If I continue to work hard my earnings will continue to grow.

Ehow updates there earnings every day(usually). This update if for the earnings for the previous day. Whenever I get an update of my earnings I will post it on here for everyone to read.

This month I have been averaging $5-$8 a day. I did have one day that was only $2. Last month I only averaged about $3 a day, so it is a great increase.

The beginging of my Ehow experience.

I found ehow through a search engine. When I went to read an article I noticed that they paid for people to write fairly simple articles. I decided to try it. I wrote 4 articles in March of 2009 and 1 more in April. I didn't write anything else until I found out I had made money. That made me put a lot more into it. In July I wrote 4 more articles. I earned a total of $28 by the end of July.

I know $28 hours does not sound like much, but I only had 9 articles. I also only put in about 10 minutes into each article. I was surprised about what I may be able to do. I began reading other peoples experiences and learned that there were people earning over $1000 a month, that got me going.

My progress since then:

August: Articles-28 Earnings-$21
September:Articles-69(most at the end of the month) Earnings-$61
October: Articles-73 Earnings-$68

So far for September I have written 54 articles and my earnings are at $72. If I continue on my earning track for the month I will make about $150 this month, and it will only increase. Even if I stop writing, I would still be making money off of those articles.

I currently have 240 articles published, and have made about $250 from the site.

I figured out that I am making $10 per 1000 views of my articles, which is well above any other site I write for. If I would have focused more in the beginning I would be making my goal income.

In this blog I will share my daily progression with the site, I will also tell you my earnings on a regular basis.

Hi everyone. I want to welcome everyone to my personal blog. I am going to be keeping everyone up to date on my earnings and experiences at ehow. Ehow is a site that you can write how to articles and earn money. I have been a member of the site for a few months now and I feel I am doing pretty well.
