I have returned from vacation

Hi everyone, I am back from vacation, and honestly did not have the best time. I did get to see Atlantis in Nassau, and that was the best experience.

I returned home to earnings that was not very good.

Of course I did not write any article.

I only made $23 for the eight days I was gone. That is only a little more than $2 a day. I also had an update for today, which was only .32. It was very upsetting, but I am expecting a lot more after the Holidays. I do not expect a lot of people being online reading articles during this time of year, especially since I only have a few Holiday articles.

I have only made $54 so far for December, and that is more that 50% less than last month. The plus side is that I have not been very active, so most of the earnings is residual.

After the Holidays are over I am going to focus on my writing and other online earnings more, so I am hoping for a very large increase in January.

Earning Update

I have not gotten an update yet today, but I wanted to give you a simple update until I return on the 21st. I have not been very active with my writing this week because I was trying to get prepared for my vacation. I have only written 21 articles so far, which is much less than what my average has been. My earnings are only at a little over $30. It is a slow month due to the holidays, but things will pick up in January.

I have been doing a lot of promotion the last few days to make up for my lack of writing. I am hoping for a big earning increase when I get home, I can only hope!

I will be out of town until the 21st, and I will do an extensive update then.

Earnings Updated

Well today and yesterday Ehow did update there earnings. Today they actually updated twice, but they were not very much for me.

The first 7 days of December I made about $20, $15 short of last month. I am fine with that because I am sure people have better things to do during this time of year. I have not been online as much as I should, so I am content with any earnings at the moment. Earning money without working is great, no matter how much it is.

I will be updating my earnings Friday or Saturday because I will be out of town next week. Going to the Bahamas, so excited, it's my first time! I am going to go through Ehow withdrawals.

Earning Update 12/1-12/6

This has got to be the worst first week I have ever had. I know there is still one day left, but it will probably not make a big difference. I am missing two days that did not get updated, today being one of them. I am thinking it may be because of he Holiday season. Well here is my update:

Update and Promoting My Content.

I do not do a lot of promoting for my articles, but I see how easy it can be. I am using www.shetoldme.com and www.stumbleupon.com to start my promoting. Since there is an option to promote both on our ehow articles, it is very simple.

Since I am going through all of my 290 articles anyway, I am going to update each one with better SEO. If I can get the SEO used properly, and promote my articles, I should begin seeing a great increase in my income within the next month or so. I am sure there are other sites that I can promote on, but I feel I should focus on a couple. After I see how my progress goes, I may try a couple more.

This may take a little while to finish this process, but it will be complete by the first of the year. I will continue to write article, but not quite as many. I will let you guys know how the process is going, and hopefully share my success.

She Told Me

I have recently heard about a site, www.shetoldme.com. It is a site that you can put a scoop about your articles. You put a link to your article, and a brief description about the articles contents. I have put a few of my articles on the site to test it out. I also read that you can earn money from your Google Adsence Account. They put an ad on the scoop page, and you can earn revenue from it.

You can also submit other sites, and different things to www.shetoldme.com. You will have to look at the site to see everything they offer, but I think it is interesting. I submitted a link to 10 of my Ehow articles, and it took about 15 minutes to do. That is not very long if it will attract more people to my articles.

November Earning Update, And Decembers Projections.

November Earnings:

Well I am pleased with my efforts this month. I have increased my earnings by 53%. I have also increased my articles quite well.

Articles Written-94
Earnings-$125

It is not what I was hoping for, but I a very pleased. I have had a few good days where I earned between $5 and $8, but I have also had a few $2 days. My daily average ended up being $4.22. Last month my average was about $2 a day. The majority of my earnings was from articles that I had previously written, only $30 of my earnings was from November articles. I also had 20 articles deleted in the sweep, one of which was a high earner.

December Projections:

I have learned a lot more about SEO and promoting, so I will be putting more of what I have learned into the articles. I think December is going to do very well. I don't think I will increase my earnings by 54% again this month, but there will be an increase.

I did not focus on EHOW when I first signed up, I only wrote 9 articles before August of '09. Since August I have written 268 articles, and earned $275.

My advice for anyone that writes for EHOW would be to never give up. Keep writing! You will begin to see your earnings increase monthly.
