Still Earning on My Ehow Blog after 10 Years

 

 I was analyzing my income sources today and saw that I am still getting views and earning from the blog, my Ehow Blog. For me, that is crazy! It has been over 10 years since I have made a post, and I sold my articles to Ehow over 10 years ago. I wanted to share that I do have other blogs that shares income sources, saving money tips, and my traveling adventures with my family. Hey everyone. Well it has been a good few months on this blog, but there is not a lot of use for the blog any longer. Ehow has changed too much, and I will not be switching over to demand studios. I feel as if Ehow has let all of the writers down, and I will not follow. I will continue to update and track all of my articles on Ehow. There will not be any reason to keep the blog going because I will have nothing to share with you all about Ehow.

Thank you to everyone for the support and following. I do have a few other blogs if you would like to keep up with everything. I am sure I will be able to update them on a regular basis, especially since I will have one less blog. I want to wish all of you success in whatever path you choose.

Ehow Weekly Earning Update 4/8/2010

Wow! This has been a difficult week on Ehow. Ehow changed there publishing, and canceled there Compensation program. With the exception of the articles already published of course. Well the earnings have also been bad. It has actually been the lowest earning week that I have had in a long time.

Since I will not be submitting any article on Ehow, I will be working on the 400 articles that I have. I feel that I can continue to increase my earnings on the site if I focus on promoting and updating the articles on a regular basis. Once everything gets organized with all of the other issues I will begin working on increasing my earning potential for my Ehow articles.

Ehow Earnings for the week: $14 Compared to last months 1st weeks earning of $20. That is a big decrease.

Ehow Writers will have to write for Demand Studios

Well I have not been online very much for the last couple of weeks, but I was hit with a shock yesterday. Demand Studios will be the exclusive platform for Ehow writers. I was actually very disappointed in this decision that they have made. I have been writing for Ehow for over a year now, and love the site. Demand Studios is a completely different subject.

I was accepted to write for Demand Studios, but have not decided whether or not I will write for them. I know that Demand Studios is much more strenuous on there acceptance then Ehow was. I am not worried about my writing, but I know they will want editing done from time to time. If that is the case I will not write for the site. To receive the same pay and work twice as hard, I would not do it. I will submit a few articles so I can see what happens.

I do not feel that this is a good decision for Ehow or Demand Studios. I think they will be losing a lot of quality writers with this decision.

My Earnings:

Since this change has taken affect my earnings have dropped quite a bit. I have went from $4 days last month to $1 days this month. I am hoping that this is only a temporary earning problem, and they will begin to increase again after everything gets situated.

Well this will affect all of us as a writing group and I would like to know how you feel about it. So please leave a comment sharing your point of view on Demand Studios becoming the writing platform.

I am back online and have an earning update

I am so sorry that I have been away for the last week or so. There has been so much going on, and I did not have a computer for a few days. Well I am back on track and will be pushing even harder to reach my earning goals with Ehow and my other writing sites.

I was pleasantly surprised when I logged back in on Ehow, my earnings have increased. They have actually increased by more than $20 since last month. I am hoping that this will keep happening from now on. I did not write much this much, and most of you know why. April will be the month for hard work online.

I will be getting my focus back this month. It will take time to get everything back in order, but this is my time to reach my goals.

Ehow Is Helping So Much At the Moment

I have been writing for Ehow for a little over a year, but have only been active for about seven months. I have enjoyed writing for Ehow the entire time. In the recent week I have learned things about my life that are hard to deal with, but Ehow is keeping my hopes up. I have been with the same man for 6 years. This week we have decided to part ways for a couple of reasons. In the last few months I have not worked, so he has paid for everything. Since he pays for everything I am left pretty helpless at the moment. Online writing is the only thing that is keeping me going financially and Ehow is the biggest part of that.

Ehow has became something that I try to do on a regular basis. It is a part of my life and my income. Since all of these problems have came up I will be spending more time on the site. I am hoping that it will be an even bigger part of my online income.

I want to thank Ehow for giving me hope. Yes I know that Ehow has there problems, but if I did not have the site my life would be a little more depressing at the moment. Ehow introduced me to the online income world, and it will continue to be a big part of it.

Ehow Weekly Earning Update 3/24/2010

This had been a good week or my Ehow earnings. The increase has been decent, and my daily average is beginning to go up on a regular basis. I did not get to write much this week due to personal issues. I will also be moving this week so my writing will have to be put on hold for another week.

I am hoping that I will be able to return to my writing in the next week. My focus will be even greater than before, and I am determined to make my income goals soon.

I will be away for a few days

I just wanted to apologize to the readers. I will be unable to do any updates for a few days. I have recently discovered that my husband is leaving, so I have to figure out my life. I am completely devastated about the separation and the fact that I am having to move out of my apartment. I just wanted to let you know that I have not gone anywhere, and I will be back updating on a regular basis within a week or two. Thank you for everything.

I will do my earning updates tomorrow, but after that it will be a little while. I am hoping that there will be more positive than negative. I will have time to write a lot more, and can share more with everyone.

Ehow Publishing Glitches

I have been having so many problems publishing, and so is everyone else on Ehow. I don't know what is going on, but I do not have publishing problems on any other sites. The issues on Ehow has slowed down my writing by quite a bit. I usually stand up for Ehow because it is the best site that I write for, but I am starting to get upset with the problem. If I am not writing I will not increase my daily earnings.

I have figured out how to publish the articles, but you cannot publish any pictures on the articles. If I do not use pictures, I do not have any problems.

I did wake up to a better day at Ehow, my earnings increased today. I try to always look at the positive in life.

I am hoping that Ehow gets there publishing tools fixed, and soon. I like putting a picture in the articles, even though they do not seem to affect the earnings.

Ehow Weekly Earning Update 3/15/2010

I have had a good week on Ehow. The earnings are increasing slightly. The only bad thing is that I have not been able to publish many articles. I have articles written, but the publishing tool is not working for me at the moment. Since I have not been able to publish I have been spending more time on other sites like firehow.

I am planning on trying to publish more articles in the next week. I am hoping that the earnings continue to show a small increase, and I can begin to earn what I was last year.

Ehow Weekly Earning Update 3/8/2010

I am feeling good about Ehow at the moment. My earnings for March are going well. I hate to say that I have not been writing much, but my earnings do continue to increase anyway. I am going to be writing more this week. I have been pretty sick, so I have not felt like doing much. I am now medicated and hope to be feeling better so I can continue to work on my writing.

My Ehow earnings this week was about $20, which is a $5 increase from this time last week. I did not write any articles. I am hoping for an even bigger increase next week.

I was reading through the Ehow forum today and found a link that I think all freelance writers should read.

Freelance writers can seek protection for unregistered copyrights in federal court

Online publishing rules just became more protective of intellectual property rights. The United States Supreme Court decided on March 2, in Reed Elsevier v. Muchnick, freelance authors can bring copyright disputes to a federal court even when they have not registered their copyright. In a unanimous decision, the justices agreed to let a $18 million settlement with online companies stand.

Great day On Ehow

I have not had this in a long time, a $5 earning day on Ehow. I am not saying that it will continue to be this high, but I am so happy. My online income has been much lower for the last couple of months. With this increase I am beginning to get my positivity back.

Ehow is a great earning site. I think it just went through a tough patch the last couple of months. I am hoping to begin earning what I was before all of the problems. My best earning month was November. I earned $124 and had a little more than 200 articles. Most of my articles was only a month or two old. In December I became disappointed with my earnings. I made a $70 with 300 articles. It was even worse in January and February.

I think my earnings for March will be much greater than before, and I feel it is a great sign for a continuing increase in all of the Ehow communities earnings.

Ehow Monthly Earning Update 3/1/10

February was a month of a few problems with Ehow. For the first couple of weeks we could not publish any articles. This problem has been fixed. I have published a few articles since then, but not as many as I did before the problem came up.

The earnings have been gradually increasing through the month. Each week has been showing a gradual earning increase, and it is a good sign. I have had more day over $3 and $4 than I have in a couple of months. The last week of the month was the best, my total earnings was more than $20.

My home income has been improving at a decent pace, and I have to contribute a lot of the success to Ehow. It has given me a great earning source, and a great learning opportunity. I am just hoping that the earnings continue to increase.

Ehow Earning Doing Well This Week

My Ehow earnings are doing fairly well this week. I will be giving an update on the 1st, but I wanted to share my feelings. I do feel that this is a good sign for Ehow. Most of us writers are trying to make a home income, and Ehow is a big source for some of us. There are still two days left for the month, and I have two more dollars for the week than last month. I know it does not sound like a dramatic increase, but I am happy. I will also have a small increase for the month.

For those trying to earn money from home using Ehow:

Keep working hard, there has been improvements to the site. I know that there has been a lot of difficulties as well, but it seems that Ehow is working on everything.

I hope that the increases continue to happen, and we all reach our income goals.

Ehow Weekly Earning Update 2/23/10

This has been a good week for Ehow. Since they fixed there publishing tool, I have actually been writing. I have not written as much as I did before the publishing issue came up, but I have been writing. My earnings have increased a small amount compared to this time last month, and any earning increase is good.

My daily Ehow earnings has been increasing at a very slow pace, but they have improved. I am hoping that they will get back to what they were before the UK issue. I was earning $5-$8 a day, and they were increasing.

Ehow Goals For Next Week:

I will write a few articles for the week, my goal is 20. I feel this is a good beginning to returning to publishing. I am wanting my earnings to stay over $3 a day, and more hopefully.

I have continued to promote my articles in various ways, and went back to tweak some of the articles as well. Since doing this I have began to earn on some articles that have not earned before. I will look through my articles this week to see if I can continue that progress throughout my Ehow library.

400 Ehow Articles

My goal for the month of February was to make it to 400 articles on Ehow, well I have made it. I published my 400th Ehow article yesterday, and I am so happy about this big milestone. I am so glad that Ehow has there publishing tool fixed. I think I am getting my momentum back, and want to begin writing more articles in the next week. After writing 400 articles I want to take a break on the writing, and focus on other points in the earning process.

Here is an article I wrote when I hit the 300 mark. I wrote this article 12/26/2009. I would have reached the 400 mark sooner if they did not have so many publishing problems. Since they are fixed I am hoping to reach the 500 Ehow article mark by April 1st 2010.

Ehow has been updating there blog more often than I have noticed before. They are promoting some popular articles, and showing some helpful information. I do wish they would be more consistent with the updates pertaining to the site problems, but you can find most of that on the forums. Ehow usually lets the community know that they are working on the issues when they come up in the forum.

If you are a member of Ehow I recommend following the Blog. You never know when they may post information that we need, or find helpful.

Well I did receive emails from Ehow today, and my articles are being published again. I am so pleased that it is working again. With the articles that was already written and the ones that I have on paper, I should reach my 400 article goal. I plan on reaching the 400 Ehow article goal today or tomorrow.

With the publishing tool working, maybe they have repaired most of the bugs on the site. I am hoping that this will begin to reflect on the earnings as well, we will see.

Weekly Earning Update 2/15/10

This is my weekly update for Ehow. It has been an OK week for earnings, but there are other issues on Ehow. I have written articles to publish, but the articles that I have submitted are not getting published. I am sure this will have an effect on the earnings. I have 10 articles pending and 15 articles waiting to put on Ehow. I am going to stop publishing until they get the articles to publish.

My earnings have increased by $2 from what I was at last month at this time. I will accept any form of increase.

While the publishing tools are down I am going through my articles to make sure they are being ranked in Google, and trying to build the backlinks. I am not going to give up on Ehow. I have seen how much I can make, and feel it will get back to that amount in the future.
